Ajay Bhatt, Indian-American computer architect, technologist born in Baroda, India and started his education at Baroda College. Bhatt finished his studies in the United States at the City University of New York. He then started his career at Intel and has contributed to the company's growth. Bhatt develops computer related technology, one being the Universal Serial Bus (USB). The reason for the USB's creation was because of technical issues. Dov Moran created the USB flash drive, while the USB was developed by Bhatt. He presented his ideas to many companies including Apple, but Intel was the only company who decided to develop the concept. In the late 90's this is now used by both Apple and Microsoft, and today these connectors are now displacing many other solutions for not only consumer electronics but also industrial electronics. Bhatt himself did not publicly receive any acknowledgement for his idea, while Intel made the technology widely known and available form the very beginning.
